A FREE LIVE WORKSHOP FOR MOMS NAVIGATING LIFE AFTER THEIR CHILD LEAVES HOME

WHEN MOTHERHOOD SHIFTS

NAVIGATING THE GRIEF AND TRANSITION AFTER YOUR CHILD LEAVES HOME

Your child may be building a new life, but you’re adjusting to a new one too. This workshop is designed to help you understand what you’re feeling and begin navigating this new season of motherhood with greater clarity and confidence.

Saturday, October 10th at 12p ET | Live on Zoom | Free Registration

You prepared your child for this moment. Now it is time to give yourself the support you need for what comes next.

You are proud of your child, but your heart is still adjusting.

You helped your child pack, remembered the things they almost left behind, smiled for the pictures, and told them how proud you were. Then you came home, and everything felt different. The house may be quieter. Their room may look exactly the same, but the energy in your home has changed. You may still reach for your phone to check whether they arrived safely, ate dinner, or are finding their way.

You can be genuinely excited about the life your child is building and still feel the ache of the life that has changed. Both emotions can be true at the same time. Missing your child does not mean you are not proud of them. It means this relationship and this season have mattered deeply to you.

This transition can carry a grief that other people do not always understand.

When a child leaves home, as a mom you are not only adjusting to the space they left behind. You may also be grieving:

✓ The daily routines that shaped her life

✓ The familiar conversations and family rhythms

✓ The feeling of being needed in the same way

✓ The version of motherhood she knew for years

This grief can appear while grocery shopping, passing their favorite restaurant, hearing their voice on the phone, or walking by their bedroom. It may even stir emotions connected to earlier losses and transitions.

You may be functioning well on the outside while privately wondering why this change feels harder than you expected.

There is nothing wrong with you.

You are moving through a meaningful life transition, and your emotions deserve more than being dismissed with, “You will get used to it.”

Staying busy can fill your schedule without healing your heart.

It is easy to respond to the quiet by adding more errands, work, television, or responsibilities. Staying busy may help for a moment, but it does not always give you space to understand what you have lost or who you are becoming.

You may also feel pressure to move on quickly because your child is doing well.Their adjustment does not erase yours. This is not about holding your child back or making them responsible for your emotions. It is about supporting their independence while also caring for your own heart. You do not have to choose between loving your child and rebuilding your life. This season can make room for both.

INTRODUCING

WHEN MOTHERHOOD SHIFTS

When Motherhood Shifts is a free live workshop created for moms who want to understand the grief connected to a child leaving home and begin moving into their next chapter with greater clarity and emotional balance.

This will not be a conversation that simply tells you to stay busy, get a hobby, or be grateful that your child is doing well.

We will talk honestly about:

✓ What has changed

✓ Why this transition can hurt

✓ How to care for yourself without guilt

✓ How to honor what is ending while making room for what is beginning

Through practical teaching, reflection, and strategies from The Transition Blueprint®, my signature framework for navigating the impact of change, you will begin understanding what your heart is carrying and how to move forward.

During this workshop, you will learn how to:

✓ Recognize the grief connected to changing routines, roles, and family rhythms.

✓ Understand why pride, sadness, relief, worry, and loneliness can exist together.

✓ Regulate your emotions when the quiet or missing your child feels especially intense.

✓ Support your child’s independence without disappearing from your own life.

✓ Reconnect with the woman beyond the daily demands of active motherhood.

✓ Take a meaningful step toward a new chapter that still honors the mother you are.

When exploring options and feasibility of owning my own business, Lena helped me to identify the clean and dirty of this major life change. I found that her ability to ask the right questions for my situation to be very thorough. Lena helped me find my direction, my motivation and ultimately the right decisions for me and I can’t thank her enough!”

Anita R.

“Lena provided steps to help me move forward, which was a life changing experience for me. If you have an open mind and you are willing to transform your thinking and your life, Lena will definitely get you there. The value she offers with her coaching is absolutely priceless.”

“Retirement created a lot of uncertainty for me. I knew I was ready to leave my career, but I wasn’t sure what life would look like afterward. Lena created a personalized 24-month transition plan that helped me think through things I hadn’t considered and gave me clear steps forward. Having a plan eased some of my uncertainty and helped me feel more prepared and confident about this next chapter."

✓ You spent years caring for your kids and are wondering what this next season holds.

Imagine feeling more grounded in this new season.

Imagine being able to:

✓ Miss your child without feeling consumed by sadness.

✓ Answer their call with love instead of needing the conversation to settle every fear.

You will leave the workshop with a better understanding of what you are feeling, practical ways to care for yourself, and a clearer sense of how to begin moving forward.

This new chapter is not about replacing the life you loved. It is about learning how to live fully in the life that is unfolding now.
